Deusaderm is an injectable purified collagen treatment that replaces the collagen your skin has lost and stimulates your body to make more of its own. It is not a hyaluronic acid filler, so it improves skin quality, firmness and tired looking under eyes without the puffiness or overfilled look that many people fear. What is Deusaderm?

Deusaderm is an injectable collagen gel developed by Sunmax Biotechnology, a Taiwanese medical biotechnology company. It is made from highly purified Type I collagen sourced from SPF grade porcine skin, processed so that its structure closely mirrors the collagen found naturally in human skin. That similarity is the whole point. Because your body recognises the material, it integrates into the dermis smoothly instead of sitting in the tissue as a foreign gel.

Each session delivers purified collagen into the skin to:

Replace lost collagen directly in the layer where ageing and thinning happen
Provide immediate structural support to hollows, fine lines and thin skin
Stimulate your own fibroblasts so the skin keeps producing new collagen after treatment

The Deusaderm Range

Deusaderm LIDO

The most widely used option in Malaysia. Identical purified collagen with lidocaine, a local anaesthetic, built into the formula. This matters most in delicate regions such as the tear trough and under eye area, where comfort during injection makes a real difference to precision and to your experience.

Deusaderm VITAL

A formulation aimed at overall skin revitalisation and quality, suited to patients whose main concern is texture, dullness and early laxity rather than specific hollows.

How Deusaderm Works

Deusaderm is injected into the mid to deep dermis using a fine needle or micro cannula technique. Topical creams and collagen supplements cannot place collagen at this depth, which is why no amount of skincare alone rebuilds the dermal layer.

Once in the skin, it works in three stages:

Replace. The purified collagen gel integrates into the extracellular matrix, giving immediate structural support to hollows, lines and thin skin.
Regenerate. As the gel breaks down, it releases bioactive peptides and amino acids that activate fibroblasts, the cells responsible for producing new collagen and elastin.
Refine. Over the following weeks, dermal thickness, elasticity and tone improve progressively, so skin looks fresher rather than fuller.

Because Deusaderm contains no hyaluronic acid, it does not draw water into the tissue. This is why it avoids the swelling, puffiness and bluish Tyndall effect that can follow hyaluronic acid injection in thin under eye skin. The gel is also milky white, which gives a subtle brightening effect under darker under eye shadows.

Deusaderm vs Dermal Filler: What is the Difference?

This is the question patients ask most, and the honest answer is that they do different jobs. A dermal filler corrects volume. Deusaderm corrects collagen. Many patients benefit from one, some from both, and our doctors will tell you plainly which applies to you.

2. Is Deusaderm painful?

Most patients find Deusaderm very manageable. We apply numbing cream before the session, and Deusaderm LIDO contains lidocaine for added comfort in sensitive areas such as the under eye. Most people describe it as a mild prickling sensation.

3. Deusaderm vs filler: which one do I need?

It depends on whether your concern is collagen or volume. Deusaderm replaces collagen and improves skin quality without adding water driven volume, which makes it well suited to thin under eye skin. A hyaluronic acid filler is the better choice for defined volume loss and contouring. Our doctors will assess and advise, and will often recommend one rather than both.

4. Is there any downtime after Deusaderm?
